This
is me! Of course I know your probably thinking "how can she have a
syndrome, she looks perfectly fine." But if you click on my picture you
will be able to see all the work that needs to be done on my teeth. My
teeth require plates, braces, a bridge because I missing one whole
tooth, and three surgeries.I am fourteen in a half and have had
eighteen surgeries so far. Its not such a big deal for me any more.
Goltz Gorlin Syndrome is a very rare
syndrome that can effect every organ in your body including your skin,
hair, teeth, nails,your sight, and your hearing. It can also affect
your symmetry. My right arm is about an inch shorter than my left arm.
My right hand has four fingers, my pinkie is only about an inch and the
finger between my pointer and pinkie is small and crooked. On my left
hand, the two fingers between my pinkie and my pointer were fused
together. I had a surgery when I was a baby to separate them. In this
picture my knee cap was broken and dislocated. This occured on Aug 28,
2008, when I was playing volley-ball after school with my family. This
may have occured because my syndrome could have made my bones less
dense, and stable, which may be why my knee cap was dislocated and
broken so easily.

Oct. 25, 1994 - The placement of my g-tube/ After I was born I would not eat ABSOLUTLY ANYTHING!!!

Nov. 11, 1994 - I had my fundal plation done.

Apr. 20, 1995 - Paraesophageal hernia.

Nov. 21, 1995 - Pyloroplasty.

Oct. 24, 1996 - I had hand surgery to repair my right claw hand, and straighten a bent finger on the same hand.

Sept. 16, 1997 - My tonsils were removed.

Sept. 16, 1997 - I also had my Adenoids removed.

Sept. 16, 1997 - I ALSO had 3 additional growths removed.

Apr. 27, 1998 - My Left hand surgery, to separate my webbed 3rd and 4th fingers.

Apr. 27, 1998 - I also had a graft on my upper left leg.

July 30 1999 - I had a removal of a mass, (papilloma) on my right buttocks.

Sept. 2, 1999 - Larynoscopy/ A papilloma was removed from my throat.

Nov. 2, 2000 - Larynoscopy/ Another papilloma was removed from my throat.

June 7, 2001 - I had a Papilloma surgery.

I had 4 extra teeth pulled from my mouth.

Sept. 11, 2008 - I had major knee surgery because I broke and dislocated my knee cap playing volly ball in my backyard after school.

May 19, 2009 - I had Another knee surgery.
